Undervolting the Steam Deck can make it run more efficiently and extend its battery life. Here’s the setup I used.

steps

  1. power off the Steam Deck
  2. hold the volume up and power buttons until you hear a chime
  3. you’ll now be in the BIOS Steam Deck showing the InsydeH2O BIOS main menu with options for Continue, Boot Manager, Boot From File, and Setup Utility
  4. from here go to the menu item titled “Setup Utility”
  5. once there, navigate to the “Advanced Settings” section Steam Deck BIOS advanced settings screen showing CPU and GPU voltage offsets set to -50 mV and SOC voltage offset set to -30 mV
  6. here you can choose voltages offset from 0mV to -50mV for the CPU, GPU and SoC
  7. I decided to use -50mV offset on both the CPU and the GPU and kept the SoC at -30mV

That’s it, happy gaming!
